What's the hazard
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2019 Jaguar XE vehicles. Due to wiring damage in the trunk, the rearview camera image may not appear on the display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility.
What to do
Dealers will inspect and repair the rearview camera wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 4, 2023. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H445.
